a dimmed shadow closes life's door
a drink of reddened wine quenched the floor
the saddened somber that i sleep
sending me down six feet deep
my soul still aches my heart still breaks
my lungs the last breath they take
suddenly my life goes dim
i can no longer see him
he who took my heart from me
with this knife i am set free
